The rear tower spacer is there to make the shocks vertical when viewed from the side at the rear most wheelbase settings. If you are running a shorter wheelbase you may not have to run it. Making the shicks vertical eliminates unnecessary side loads between the piston shaft and seals/bushings and makes the shocks have less friction during movement.

The track is 120 x 60 ft but the setup is all turns. Everything is a shortshoot to then next turn. There is no straight that is more than 8 to 10 ft before you have to turn left or right.

I want to be on power except at half throttle around all the turns but I cannot seem to get the on power steering. I am pushing.

Any setups or advice on things to try

The shop is speedzonerc.com in Rocky Hill, CT and since the shop keeper has shuie kits and parts on the shelf I want to make this track work for me.
Download a setup sheet, fill it out in detail and fax it to 813-889-9593. We will have a look at it and make some suggestions.

It also puts the camber link perfectly parallel with the CVD shaft. If you have too much of an angle front to back in the camber link, it can mess with the camber gain.

I think you better look back at the eXpress race results, 25 laps were hit back in Dec. by a few guys.... If you wanted to show Cuffs how to wheel why weren't you in Maryland this weekend?

You may also want to look back thru the results 8 out of 9 is not what I see.....

We built our Rubber EC's bone stock. Just the way the instructions tell you to. The instructions cover building the car with Teemu's EuroChamps setup and it works really well.

Paul ended up dropping 5wt front and rear to 25wt (F) and 30wt (R) since it was cold the last time we raced.

Ah let it go, he's got his car good and is on a roll, let him enjoy it. Carpet won't last too much longer . If there aren't guys to run mod this weekend, I may drop back into stock and see if I can make it 8 of 10, but who knows, his junk's been fast.

Justin, is it possible I could borrow that checkpoint can you have for the race in california? I wouldn't need the arm, just the can.
