Marcos,
We were 5 grams over min with the Core 5000 and my prototype lipo holder in the Schumacher. I can easily shave off that, and more if needed. That was with a normal body but includeing a transponder.

your running the lightweight bulkheads i'm guessing???

Best thing to me is not having to add much weight with the stock bulkheads so I never ordered the new bulkheads.

yes i have the lightweight bulkheads, but now i took 2 ounces off since we lowered the minimun weight to 51 oz for our state series.

ive seen your prototype battery holder but i just dont like the battery hanging of the chassis that much, my Schumacher battery strap works just fine

might want to hold on that. i think the kit bulkheads will be preferred when lipo is the standard (which will be this coming carpet season). it's a cleaner way to keep the weight, and they are quite a bit stiffer. i think the lw bulkheads are probably a good tuning aid for asphalt.

That tray only hangs off like 10mm and it really helps in balancing the car dude, I would take a second look at it

will i want them for carpet then chris??? in about 2 months i'm ordering my carpet car and hopfully have it done for some kind of a series i was told i might want to run i dunno what that guy was talking about or what series it was...
