I hope that doesn't mean I'm cooling on the car...

Marc- One thing I noticed with Paul's setup right from the start was that high speed steering was awesome! I was able to hold the sweeper full throttle and tight and made up a lot of time on guys there. The first thing I would do next time you need turn in would be lowing the front diff. It works great. YGPM.

yeah, with PW's setup - I was toasting Mr. Michael Toth (aka Toastie) himself in the high speed sweepers - as i made changes I lost that, but i gained more infield speed - (disclaimer - Toastie was still able to kick my butt - but he even said i had some crazy high speed steering)

One thing i did not try was lowering the diff - i am not sure when the next time i will be on asphalt before Reedy, but i will definitely give that a try

All i can say is that i learned alot about setup Saturday - Alex made me change just one thing at a time - I still have A LONG WAY TO GO - but just testing stuff on this car, and the ease of changing the smallest things make setup that much easier.....

Keep in mind that My setup was the first run on the production car and is still a work in progress. My setup is also 100% geared towrads the Reedy Race (tamiya track) which is probably one of the worlds fastest layouts

The lower diff also gave me more steering

That's pretty much what I figured Paul. I'm still going to use that setup to start from on Thursday practice. But running on the tighter track will help me figure out how much effect each change makes on the car. I can't wait to get back out there next weekend.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still looking to get the car better in the tight stuff. I actually made some more changes already

Carpet or asphalt? I will be running carpet rubber this weekend, and I am planning on putting Chris Ashton's setup on my car to start
