Hiya

I am racing the MI2EC in 540 class (silver can) and was wondering which is it better to go with as regards to spur sizes.. Is it better to run a bigger spur or a smaller spur, still keeping within the same rollout though.

Thanks

It really depends on the size of the track, but for the most part we run a 118 spur.

Mmm gotta love the grey bulkheads . Glad to see so many people looking forward to our new kit, it's going to be an amazing car.

Here's what I've been doing in my spare time with no home track .

Thanks . That flying was a little mild, I don't like to fly over parking lots .

Damn that is pretty good. The Trex is a killer heli and by the look I think you have the SE version. I fly a little with the hobbyshop heli but not even close to what you are doing. I just never fly enough to actually get good.

Yes you can run the diffs with one up and one down. I run my rear diff with the riser plate and the front diff without.

Just use the spacers under the top deck on the lay shaft and motor mounts to get the top deck up to the proper height and then put two 2mm shims under the top deck on top of the front bulkhead. This will keep it from bending the top deck. Also make sure you use the black spacer in the left steering bell crank. If you ran the car with both diff risers out, you will have taken that out.

I raced at our indoor asphalt track Frederick, MD last night. Qualified 10th in the "A" and finished 3rd. We had some really close racing last night. It was great running the Mi2EC after taking 5 months off from sedan to run 1/12th scale. Voodoo/Full Throttle made the Schuie rip all day.
