Aluminum Foil On Receiver/Radio

I have a Futaba 2PL basic radio controller with the receiver that came with it. I want to know if putting the tin foil on the radio controller antenna and receiver tips would help the reception be clearer or make it better in general. Or is it insignificant and doesn't help.?

i noticed when i wrap the receiver box in foil, less glitches. works for me.

Did you put allot on the tip of the receiver antenna and completely cover the receiver box? Also did you use any on the tip of your radio antenna?

It may or may not...but so long as your equipment is setup properly it won't be needed.

not on the receiver antenna. just on the receiver box and sometimes on the servo and esc wires that plug into the receiver. i use foil tape.

Yokomo made a small kit for wrapping receivers, came with RF tape, and foil tape if I remember right, not sure if it's still sold or not now that most have gone to 2.4. I used to buy it at Speedtech.
