Default Tips for new TT-O1 racer.

I'm racing a spec TT-O1 for the first time this weekend. I've installed ball bearings throughout and I intend to get some oil shocks soon.

Anyone got anymore tips they can share? Please keep in mind I'm racing in a spec class and I'm limited as to what parts I can install.

contact 'rayk' on here. he runs a class down this way called 'senior spec'. use the tt01 platform. the guy knows all the tricks as it has been a popular form down here for over decade. the guy really can help and knows the tamiya game very well...so close this yr in gettin that ticket to japan for tcs worlds. next yr ray, next yr!!!

good luck w/the car. i will say that he'll tell you to buy the super mini cva shocks, not the reg or mini shocks. super minis. even tell ya what length to build em too.

Thumbs up

Put a space between- Ray K. TT-01!!! Hey so you dont end up with extra shocks that you wont use for your TT-01, get the "SUPER MINI SHOCKS" not the "mini shocks". Have fun, take it easy.

Tim, also check with Scott W. (hprt) at KARZ, or his post #2182.

I'll be talking to all the KARZ guys I'm sure. Since they'll probably all be lapping me for at least the first couple weeks.
