Yodog makes nice parts
I used them in the past on other cars then Pro10
If any one wants to get his car converted(t-bar) use saddlepack or 2x 1s battery configuration.
Great balance, easy setup and a car that has good overall grip.
For me if running a T-bar car I will be using 2x 1S because of lower cog and more MAH then saddle batteries.
Even on a link car the 2x 1S configuration is very good especially on low grip tracks.

a few items on the E bay, not much close to us, but some good projects. This will be fun once up and running the old and the new(er). I have not driven my 10L since the 80's, almost ready

yeah. i was going to convert my genx-10 se but i wasnt sold on the hub extensions and the lajf kit with the wider pod and new IRS axle was going to be too pricey by the time it shipped to the states- so i ended up supporting bruce of speed merchant for a new kit. funny thing is running 235 will either tempt me to run WGT or sell it all together lol. i'm thinking once i get hooked on speed, there aint no going back. plus i'm a bigger fan of pro10- type bodies over those in wgt.

Both Asso based cars are prototypes and only 2 chassis from both cars are made.
Joost.K and I have run the left car for the last 3 seasons with great results and it is now going into retirement
There is a new car developed as we speak and this will be put true it's paces this year.
The Vorlon prototype you see here has had it's maiden run with success on carpet and will be tested soon on the outdoor tracks.
On your question about the Vorlon still being for sale, no.
It has found a new owner who is very happy with it and is running it in Spain if I am not mistaken
If you want a kit, you can ask Tobias from VIP racing to deliver you a roller or just a chassis kit with the front plate of your choice for the front suspension.
Spring and shock wise I run TRF centre shocks and Silva HSP2 side shocks with Asso springs.
TRR is doing a complete 235 conversion for the Asso 10R5.1 if you have that one

Regards Roy

Roy, in the pic with the 2 AE based cars, how do you keep the batteries from sliding left to right and hitting the T-Bar on the car on the left? Looks like you tape the batteries, but after a few hits and crashes it does get a little loose.

We put some 2mm foam on the chassis so when you tape the batteries in they stay put.
If you see that the tape is getting worn just replace it
Never had the batteries hit the T-bar and had the batteries hit out of the car just once in a big impact.
I don't have a pic on the laptop but could post one when home.
Just go to your local home improvement shop as it is used to protect floors when moving heavy furniture on it

Ok, sounds good. Another question, where can I get those upper pod plates for the shocks to mount on for the 10L2?

Thanks for the endorsement Roy!
Unfortunately we are stuck with mostly 1s power configurations in the U.S.
I suppose 2x 1s in parallel would work though.
