Wow dude, 8 degrees of caster, 60 wt rear oil, that could be a problem.
By your setup sheet it looks like you have a ton of anti dive and pro dive too. No reason for that on asphalt really.
Try the 1.2 mm 3 hole pistons and something like 45 front 40 rear oil. 4 degrees caster no kick up .
I would suggest you try the box setup first and work from there. Your setup looks real whacked out to me I cant even imagine what the car would do if I tried that setup on asphalt.
Med high roll centers all the way around with 19lb front and 17 or 16lb rear springs would help also.
I say start over at the box stock setup or ej's reedy setup and work from there.

Definitely start over. It looks as if you tossed a ton of ideas at the car and just went to far. Fairtrace nailed it try the box setup or even EJ's Reedy setup both are very good and tweak from there. If you are determined to continue with your setup I would start with 4 degrees castor and definitely soften the rear more.

I managed to strip my v2 spool last week on a VERY tight, twisty track with no straight to speak of.
Rather than spend £11 on a new TOP spool I decided to blow £25 on the Titanium Racing spool and Yoko BD-5 pulley as it looks bomb-proof (and rather trick!).
I had to enlarge the hole in the pulley with a bodyshell reamer to get it over the end of the spool, but it looks ace, and runs really smooth.
It weighs a bit less than the stock part too.
Will use it tomorrow and post up first impressions at the weekend.

I have bin testing the Photon all day long today.
Made some small changes and the car became faster and faster.
I geared one time lighter by changing from a 25 pinion to a 22 and the car became a bit more lose in the rear.
I changed back to a bigger pinion and it was solved. i'm going to drive a bigger spur gear.
Now I use a 75 and a 25 pinion.
I will go to a 78 Gear and a 26 pinion.
This will make the car more stable in the corners.
Also will I go change my roll center. i will move this up because now the car has to much grip in the corners. I have still a lot of roll but I believe that this can much better.
The car is very easy to drive and my lap times went down and down each time I changed something.
Also the lap times were very consistent.
the slowest and the fastest lap times were not further away than 0,5 sec.
and I drove on save today. I drove only 0,3sec slower than my personal record. But I drove 25 laps in 6 mints wile my record is 25 laps.
I now that i can go much faster when I drive closer to the inside of the corner. And with much I mean faster than my personal lap record.
The car is also incredible strong. i hit several times the side of the track and normally the C hubs and steering blocks break than.
Noting broke today.
Tomorrow I will change some small things.
The car will than go even faster.
Almost ready with my setup. i will post it when I'm ready with my setup.

top diff ring.
i do not know you guys facing this problem or not?
kits diff ring never be flat, then i thought is manufacture defect.
give it second try because i love this car too much..
bought new 1, also same. in flat at all.(even i sand it with 400 sand paper) result jacking diff in motion.
so i consider changing to other brand diff ring, can anyone guide me, whether tamiya, yokomo. which company diff ring can fit inside photon diff? (product code provide given will appreciate)
thanks.

Sand it until they are flat. Use 200 grit then 600 grit. They are standard 12th scale diff rings any will fit but none of them are going to be as flat as you can get them with sandpaper.
I have found after sanding the rings the photon diff is probably the smoothest I have ever encountered in a Touring Car.

Steel outdrives
Has anyone tried these spool outdrives yet on their Photon?

Congrats to Goop for winning the foam 17.5 class!!
Larry finished 3rd in foam 13.5 class. Juan Avetiya made the extremely competitive rubber 13.5 main. We also had two guys (non supported of course!) Dustin Layne and Dennis Sorti make the amateur A main. Great job guys!!
I'll be posting pictures tomorrow.

I start with 200 then turn to Larry and say "man I don't know if I'm doing this right, can you do it for me?"
