Dyno numbers on 19 turns
Hey,
Can you guys post your dyno numbers for your 19 turn motors set-up for on-road racing?
Our track is going to run 19 turn Sedan class sooon I think and I want o know how these motors perform.
I bought a Epic Binary 19T Outlaw motor and ran it right out of package and I thught it ran well. Maybe the same as the Putnam C2 I usually run. I dynod it and thats where I am lost. I have the data-but dot know what it means-compared to a "killer 19t"-that is.
Heres the data off of the Fantom Dyno:
Power 80
Torque 1.02
RPM 21,000
Spool up 3.5 (I think)
This is set at 36* timing, stock P94 brushes and after three battery packs.

Ray,
The current Kisbey 19t D5 I am running has this as the dyno sheets:
rpm: 22,133
Power: [email protected]
Eff: 65.7%@15.7K
Torgue: 132.8 Nmm
The motor I ran at the Region 5 Oval champs ws about 24,000 rpm, 97W power, 71% eff, like mid 120 torq, on the 4.1 screen startup power was 55W, also spool up was like 2.5 or so. Remember this is for a D5 based 19t.

Ray...Generally you want something around 100 watts. Those are considered very good. Ive seen them as high as 115 that were legal and 125 that were not legal!!
Torque you want around 1.150-1.200. Spin up around 3.2 or so.
RPM I dont worry about much....You can gear for that. but generally around 23k rpm.
Hope this helps.

Big Dog and EA,
What exactly is a C2? Is it an Epic based or what? I would appreciate it..
