Default setup

maxpower - the 3mm chassis will make the cg slightly higher but also the roll center slightly higher than the ms 2.5mm chassis. If you add more shims under the blocks I don't believe it will have a huge impact on the cg but it will significantly raise the roll center. I would suggest that you don't add the shims under the blocks.

Jun - I seem to have better handling with not putting shims under any blocks.

I did actually preorder it from Speedtech... the price turned out to be pretty good, and he should have them soon, he said. hit Steve up and see what he has to say.

i think the ones getting them right now are probably from overseas... cheaper initially, but with the fees+EMS shipping to US, its pretty close.

I had one on order for $270 then saw them from a HK supplier on Ebay for $205 so I snapped it up, so I may end up with two.. so one will go back on ebay... doubles my chances of getting it quicker :P

my email from Steve @ Speedtech said it will be 184.99... it may take a bit, as he says the first batch will do about 2/3 of the preorders he has, so mine wont be in till his 2nd shipment.

i guess ill just try to be patient....

So does the MSX conversion also include the bottom chassis (main chassis) as well??? I thought it was the top deck only.

Just wanted to where you can find setup sheets from??? I went to the Tamiya USa site and it only has David Jun's Pro Mod Suspension setup on it. I was wondering where are Marc Reinhard's and other's setup??? Also, are there any setups for the MSX upgrade yet? (for rubbers on asphalt)

Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello People.

Does anybody have a good 415 Mid Low grip Carpet setup that I can start with?
Thank you!

Default 415ms set up

I run on ozite and use this set up.

5mm ride height with 2mm droop
frt shocks blue springs and 60wt oil, middle hole on bottom , 2nd hole from top/top
rear shock yellow springs and 45 wt oil - middle hole on bottom , 2nd hole from top/top
front tires double pink orange , 1 degree toe in and 2 degrees camber
rear tires double pink , 0 degree toe in , 2 degrees camber ( TQ traction compound on the rear tires and outer halves of the front)
No sway bars ,
Also I use a front ball diff , that I made with stock F201 outdrives , I had to mill 3mm off the one side's shoulder , and these outdrives can be a pain to keep adjusted , but the belt is fairly centered and the diff is smooth !

Might be a good starting point for you.
Good luck
Mike
