i think the main info i need is to see exactly how long the cvd bone itself is... prolly center of the pivot hole to the inside pin. i know these are supposed to be 42, and Alan in the UK earlier said 48 for the 201's, but i dont know what part he measured from. ideally, i think they should be 46 center to center. i better get mine back together for this weekend...

Hmm if it is too long, maybe we can get away with the F201/415 hybrid "short" diff.
Anyways, gonna try a new setup on the 415 this weekend. See how it compares to my old one.

I think the 11x6 bearing is used on the output shaft of the TXT-1 tranny.

Umm...nope just a bunch of 5x11's in the TLT-1 tranny.

guys, just a few questions, from a newb...
what the big deal with trying to make up a different diff for the 415 ? i just don't see the point, but please don't take that as a criticism as i have never driven a car with a front oneway before on carpet, i am just finishing building my 415 as we speak. does the one way make it handle like shit on the carpet ?

trf_steve- a one-way with foams on carpet will give you too much steering and make the car harder to drive in general.
also i'm sure a fair few of the guys here will be planning on attending the 04 reedy race at the tamiya track in the near future.. and one-ways are banned for this race, you must have 4w drive and breaking.. so if they want to run the car they're going to have to work something out.
