Gearing 17.5 brushless in TC5

Does the motor have a 12.5mm rotor or 12.3mm ???? With a 12.3mm 3.8fdr is fine to start, and with a 12.5mm 3.6fdr is good to start....

after checking out thae manufactures spec its a 12.5 rotor and they suggest for a medium track 4.0:1
