Okay, i will.
This will be the setup i'll try this week and i think it will be may last:
I notice that when i copy the .kpd file to a .txt file that it change it to a other profile Maybe explain that why i saw strange setup's. Did't you guy's notice it? Please try it. Ore perhaps i do something wrong.
So i do it the easy way. i'll only tell you the drive freq because all the other things are personal preference.
The drivefreq schema is compound in 4 sectors: 1 till 8, 9 till 16 etc, etc.
1 till 8 is cunning from 1 to 25. in equal steps.
Your engine is buidling the power (torque) up so your car does't slip (thanks to Robert) and you wil save your outdrives cups with this (thanks to Kees -a friend of my-).
9 till 24 will be 25. Liniar because you must have the torque for the cornerspeed (thanks to Hebiki).
25 till 32 is the same as 1 till 8 but then the opposite for the the maximum endspeed.
You can change the mid sector to any low/high khz you want, depand on how much torque you need for the engine and track your driving.
I don't know if this setup is the ONE, but i hope it will do for my track...
Ps below you find the profile after changing it to a txt file. It is the same as explained above... But then different for some reason. All the freq are in a higer range
MDL5_FRQ1=12 (must be 1)
MDL5_FRQ2=14 (must be 4)
MDL5_FRQ3=16 (must be 7)
MDL5_FRQ4=18 etc
MDL5_FRQ5=21 etc
MDL5_FRQ6=23
MDL5_FRQ7=25
MDL5_FRQ8=27

Strange is't?
I will keep you informed!

Yep, that is the ONE i meant.
Thanks.
What do you think of it? Does it make sence ore....?
@ wishbone maybe i missed it

If that works for you and the track your on, it looks good and your logic seems correct for what your trying to do. If you think its a little soft you can always just raise the avg. bar up as well.
#499
i would think you would want steps 25-32 to be as close to 52 a possible. my understandind is that 1 is high torque and 52 is high rpm. so that at step 32 you have the throttle at full so you would not need the torque and you would want more rpm.
#500
It's actually the opposite...as you go from 1 to 52, the drive frequency gets lower...lower drive freq equals more torque. The higher you raise each block, the more torque for that throttle step.
#501
I thought that too, but when I look at the setups that are posted on the ko site, it seams to be the opposite. for instance, look at the 1/12 mod. this was josh's setup. The setup starts at one and finishes at 41. unless you want low torque at initial pull and want high torque at full throttle. the 5,6 cell setup is the same and these were from drew and ralph.

You put a mild torque early/mild rpm late on a motor that is abundant in torque and rpm (ex. hindering the performance of an already fast mod motor to make it more driveable and preventing the electronics from exploding )
In those setups, they are running modified and are using the ESC setup to limit the power of the motor on purpose. It doesn't change the fact that a lower drive frequency (higher setting on a throttle step) equals more torque.
I assume you run stock based on your signature...if so, then you want to stick with something equal to or more aggressive than the factory profiles 4 or 5. In 13.5 and 17.5, I run a profile that is close to 5, but has higher settings (lower drive freqs) from steps 1-16.

You put a high torque early/high rpm late profile on a motor that is lacking in torque and rpm (ex. adding performance to a stock motor).

so for stock or 13.5 would you not want to start at 52 for step 1 and end up at 1 for step 32? at least genericallyto start with.
so I would want to a setting as close to 52 without tire spin at initial throttle and then at full throttle, I would want to be close to 1 as long as the motor is not overheating

how funny. this past weekend I ran this profile and was the fastest I have been in 1/12 stock. the car was on rails and the most consistent. the car was balistic. can't wait to see what the inverse of that will do this weekend.

Ko speedo
Maybe your right and is't the speedo but something else.
We rode with the same tyres the VTEC 30R and so with the same rollout 65mm... Better batteries....? I drove with de IP 5000 40C. One of the best...
The transmitter profile is the same as i had with the LRP TC. Make that the difference? Must i resetted it before i used the Ko esc?
How can i limit the end point? On the transmitter ore in the esc?
And what do you mean with the highpoint? I can't find the right translation of that.
The gearing was almost the same but with the hacker i could turn the gearing down. I will try that next week.
In testing the profiles 5 minutes, in practise 10 minutes, in races 5 minutes.

May be that your problem
Try that
p.s: High point is value for full trottle on you esc - transmitter depending on your esc setting. You dont get full speed if your high point isn't set to neutral [100%] when you first set your esc. If you highpoint is too low you esc cant show maximum performance.
Thats in my Ko helios manuel...
