Wouldn't have helped because I didn't know about the race until it was posted later. I'll try to get the info before income down next year.

Perhaps if you did not spend so much time in the threads of other car brands, you might have seen it? Just sayin........

Damn that just sounds wrong. at least say other brand pan cars. I dont spend time in any other tc threads. when your f1 is ready make sure I'm on the list. I'll pick up a 1/12 @ the same time.

HELP! I was taking apart my car to clean all the bearings and in doing this something happened to my spool where it no longer fits in the car! I was pulling off the outdrives (they were stuck on there good) and something moved with the gear. I didn't know this was possible! I have no idea how to get this back into place without messing it up. Take a look at the picture. The one on the left is the one with the issue and the one on the right is from my other car. Notice now there is now a 1-2mm gap at the top. I am traveling to race this weekend and one of my cars maybe out of commission before I even get there. I don't get to race often so this is not cool!

Hey Travis,

I can ship you a spool tomorrow to borrow if you want. You would have it Friday.

Let me know,

Mike Slaughter

Travis the ring gear is just glued and press fit together, my suggestion is use two sockets that can push on either side of the spool towards one another to create I vise effect. Not sure how to protect the teeth on the gear but I am sure you can get it done.

I got it back together. It doesn't look as good... but it is functional again!
