Thanks for your help. This isn't my first sedan, The last sedan was the JRXS when it first came out. Are the 008 and the 009 all interchangeable? Do you race at RC Plus?

IIGQ4U, the pics show the issue with the Hudy part......the dog-bone piece is 'out of phase' for the unit to work vibration free. go out in the street and look under a vehicle that has drive-shafts that have u-joints (not fwd) you'll see what I mean. Yes, I know, finding one with a Constant-Velocity (double cardan) joint will be harder to find. Try looking under a older 4X4 front axle!

The 'out-drive' end of the Hudy should have been rotated 90deg.

The Atomic piece shown is technically correct.......

That's XRAY's fault, not mine. I can't rotate the shaft 90º and reinstall. My issue with the ECS is the fact that mine are binding. The couplings are binding in the shaft. Thread lock is not the culprit either... I am going to send them in to Hudy America as I just purchased the units.

The stock shafts that I got with the car was binding for me ..I let steve weiss take a look and he switched out the inside center piece and then the binding went away..

Help needed,
Near the end of my t2009 eu build manual it shows putting the front shocks on the car and it has a note saying to space out the shocks as an option and it will make the car easier to drive/less steering. my ? is that it says do this for the "FRONT " shocks next to the rear & also the front shocks.

Anyone know what it does for the back end / front end.

surly its a bit of a typo, maybe?

One of the spool outdrives sheared in a final, left the car with 3wd which was a tad tricky to drive, you couldn't use the brake as it would swap ends instantly. Got a new set put in ready for tomorrow nights racing.

I have no idea what it means. might be a typo

All i know is that not many people are shimming the shocks Just dont worry about it. If your racing with high traction, then you can add a 1.5mm or 2mm shim behind the shock, on the top on the front shocks

This is the only situation when you would need to shim any of the shocks outwards.

Default How do the 38 tooth gears work....

for 21.5 gearing? I also read it helps with handling, or is this with lower turn motors?
