Thanks,
Neither... all cars, setup, and electronic/hardware choices change the weight of every car, so they aren't designed to put any given car at a particular weight. I found them far too light, so I stuck with my lipo tray.

Hi All,

They are far too light for what? Balancing the chassis, or for achieving minimum weight? This is the question I was originally asking. In Australia we are running to a minimum weight of 1425 including Personal transponder. I am just a little concerned I won’t be able to balance the car and achieve min weight if I use this kit.

Another question I have is with the Lipo balancing weights, do you still need the Lipo spacers in or does it clear the topdeck?

I can now use my Thunder Power 5000's without the lipo spacers, the brass weights force the lipo out just far enough to clear the top deck, byt about 0.5mm!

on my 008 i have around 35g too add to reach 1425g. My lipo is 315g and holder/strap 30g. if the xray weights are 60g total it will be lineball on 1425g and left right balance will depend totally on the position the battery is in.

i know Bendigo club races 1425weight. With more people going to Lipo and most planning to in the future i hope the weight will get dropped a bit, I'm sick of putting so much lead on my car (no need to start a debate)

I'm thinking about getting the Xray Lipo Balancing Chassis Weights, has anyone had trouble with batteries falling out? (ill be running SMC 5200's and a xray battery strap) or there any "better" battery trays out there?

Are you also having trouble getting spares as well? My LHS has nothing in the way of spares, not even the basic stuff like rear uprights etc. So i have resorted to buying stuff from a main hobbies.

Can't even get a kit even though there's been a recent delivery, c-blades hard to get etc
