I picked up the DF-03RA Lancia Delta Integrale Kit today.
I have a spare Hobbywing 13T / 35a combo lying around that I will be slapping in and a Savox SC-0254 digital servo.
I have no idea what to expect but if it goes half as good as the picture on the box looks I will be very happy.

I recently put a new Castle Creations Sidewinder SV2 5700kv system in my DF03. I also got a 2s lipo for it.
I ran it today on the street for a bit. I then decided to finally find a "rally like" spot to drive. I went to the park and ran it in the parking lot. It had some gravel, sand, dirt, etc. It was a blast!!
I use the Dark Impact body under my Subaru body, but I still noticed alot of dust got in. When I got home, i used my air compressor and it looked new again.
Also, would you guys recommend the slipper clutch on my car? What will that do for me?
Here are some pictures.

Awesome Subaru Df-03ra
Tamiya #53925 Slipper Clutch
The slipper clutch takes a lot of the load off the drivetrain on high grip surfaces.
In addition the slipper also allows the car to get the power down a lot better on loose surfaces such as gravel and reduces the stress on the drivetrain when you jump/land.
For around $30 and two mins of your time to fit it to the car it's a worthwhile upgrade for anyone running a brushless system in their df-03ra.

I went to my LHS today and they had a DF03 slipper, so I bought it.
I just got done installing it, very quick and easy to do. I tightened the slipper as shown in the diagram, 1mm of the thread showing. Is that just a starting point or is that where it should stay? How will the car drive if its tighter or looser than that?
In my DF03 kit, then gave me a 72t and a 75t spur gear, and the slipper gives you a 82t spur gear. When I built my kit, I put on the 75t spur and a 29t pinion.
Is that good gearing? I mostly run in parking lots and occasionally in dirt.
Thanks for your help!

Slippers are exactly that, they are designed to slip and ease strain on the drive system. Looser, means more slip. If you are driving brushless on asphalt, loosen the slipper so that the grip of the tires doesn't rip apart your drivetrain. On gravel? I crank mine tighter, but leave a little for strain relief when i hammer the throttle. Just play around with it, it's a very useful tool.
Awesome looking Delta up there! and great pics of the Suuby
What tires are on the Subaru? kit tires? they look awesome...

Who thinks the TA06 took some design ideas from DF03? Bottom loading for battery pack is pretty slick but TA06 requires to loose few screws in order to install / uninstall the battery pack.

I had this box Sitting around for about 5 Months and decided to get her Done, Added a slipper, Tamiya BLS 16T ESC/Motor Combo, With HeatSink Fan for Motor, CArbon Fiber Damper Stay front and rear, Researching a better set of gears, im afraid these white plastic ones will explode... Hopefully i can find a delrin or black type set. Got a SEt of TRF Annodized Shocks will add to it later, Dont know why but this simple kit looks fun to bling out!

I did purchase the carbon rear damper and left front stock.. the rear gives adjustability for damper position.. front the car really doesn't need it in my case since its mainly driven on dirt and snow.
