I sure hope MaxAmps has the 35c in a soft pack, I only have 22.5mm and the hard pack is 25mm.:(

Talk about truth in advertising!!

Shouldn't be surprized, same one that said "No hard cases for us". "Because you won't see us putting ours in a case.","Look all I know is that we won't be doing hard cased packs and that's it."

Looks like they changed their minds.

I'll defend Maxamps a bit here. Yes I remember they said that a hard case was not necessary. But ya know...who cares now. I think what they are doing is great. I think I was the first to suggest to them to produce a weighted option on there packs. http://www.rctech.net/forum/4083080-post14.html And when they came out with the 5000SS I bought 2. They worked great in my TC5 but won't fit in my Xray. That shows me they listen to their customers and change to meet their needs. I'm more than happy to deal with a company that listens to their customers and changes with the times.

I don't have a problem with them making a hardcased pack because of customer demand to be legal for ROAR events.

Though, if they said they wouldn't do a hardcase, period, that is a little crow to start eating. Just Alittle.

My main thing I would want to know is that the cells live up to the 35C rating, and don't require the cushion that Austin mentioned that had a pretty good discussion going.

does me know good to buy a 35C pack, if I need to keep in mind a "25%" cushion or so on the C rating. might as well real rate them at 26C (assuming a 25% cushion needed) or whatever. Again, this is based on threads concerning there other packs, namely the 6000mah and 8000mahs.
