Well, it's the late '60s-late '80s Junie Donlavey NASCAR team colors, when they were sponsored by Truxmore. Several BIG names in racing drove that car, the #90.
I had to do a double-take on what you wrote. "Tomata"? Did you mean "tomato"? Starsky & Hutch's car was a '75 Gran Torino - yes, it was "tomato red". And dude's *Camaro* is indeed in Baldwin-Motion colors; I have the AMT plastic model kit.

yeah I meant to write Tomata... As in tomato, as in Torino... My friends and I always called it a tomato

Nicely captured with the current range of decals used.
So I was looking at this Javelin body, are the screws holding the front end cap on part of the kit? It seems most versions of this body has the front cap screwed on... I have the Protoform 70 Firebird T/A, does that required screwing on as well? I didn't think I seen the screws in the kit.
Very nice! I really dig these early Camaros!
