I received one from them last week. Came in the time frame they promised.

Cannot tell one bit of difference between their new 3800 and my two other 3600 lipos (7-8 month old). The 3800 weighs approximately 5 grams more.

Only other lipo I would go for at this point would be either of the SMCs; but, I would definitely like to see SMCs offered with bullet connectors first.

wish all lipos would have bullet connectors. makes it easier to use a variety of different lipos in my cars without having to change plugs on my ESC.

That's the main reason why I stayed with Team Orion 4800 Lipo's,
bullet connectors are just nice and clean with no wires dangling
around. I'm happy to see Team Trinity is doing the same thing with
their 3800 25C Lipos. Can't wait to get my Orion 3800 30C Lipos!

Hi Guys
Here is my L-W-P (Lipo Weight Plate) Made from 1.5mm stainless steel, with 60grams of lead stuck to the base of it, (I may screw them on in the next version) it weighs in at a total 150 grams. I have a foam block at the front of the Lipo, which slips neatly up against the bulk head to stop it from moving forward, as I have sanded the lumps off of the bottom of the Orion 3800 so as to get it under the top deck. I have stuck a strip of foam to stop from moving inward the the car, even though it probably wont because of the tape holding it, I have made a ledge to stop it from coming out of the L-P-W and covered it in a sticky back CF paper. Its attached to the chassis by using original holes, one for the ariel mount, and the one just back from that. I have no extra lead anywhere in the TC and now weight in at 1508. Any questions ask away
Cheers Malc TCCFM

Had the chance last night to compare my 4800's 20C against my 3800's 30C
and all I can say is "this is the one"! More punch and better top end on the
straights.
