Agree.............. had to do this when i got my new racy bulkheads. Had to boil some water and placed the alum bulkheads in them.

But i recommend just changing bearings.

For how long? Assuming I only want to change the bearing for the pulleys on the rear bulkheads, will boiling it affect the diff bearings?

Default 415

Is it possible to install a 415 front and rear damper stay on a 414M kit?

The rear shock tower is too wide at the point where it is screwed on the rear bulkhead. The 414 has a narrower rear end.

I have not tried the front.

Too bad... It would be nice to have a different looking 414.

Boil some water and let it cool down for about 1min. Drop the bulk heads in, by doing this the alloy stretches temporarily therefore loosen its grip on the bearing.

Preety much the same technique used one removing bearing on a real car block. Hope this helps.

Actually not

The bearings are glued to the bulkheads they're not kept in place by constraint, so you need to break the glue, and how do you do that ? You put the part in BOILING (I insist on that) water for like 10 minutes and then you need to hit the bearings. They won't come easily either.

When you put them back in, don't glue them it's not really useful.

The front low friction belts can be used for the 414M. I'm not sure on the TA04 rear belts.

you can use the 415 rear belt, but not the front. TA04 belts are the same as on the 414M.
