"Express Install" ftw, lite graphic interface.

Yeah, it's basically the same but not so in your face.

Hello everyone, I just installed my RS pro speed controller and was looking for some set up help. I have searched the thread for info before posting but none of the tracks are the size of the one the race is on. I have raced here before but not with adjustable timing speedo.

Allright down to the details...

Car
T2009
17.5 duo 1 (EA motorsports version)
current gearing in car is @7.05

Tekin software is 2.12

Track
K-raceway in Kissimmee,FL This track is more set up for gas or mod. electric
it is 250' x 90'. we usually cut through last opening at end of straight. (left end)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Beautiful area and track you have there.

You could start with #5 of the "Preset Profiles" and find a gear & baseline from there.
For a straight that long a 1.5s or more delay for turbo would seem like the right direction, when you get to the point where you want more top end than boost and gear provide.

I would guess a gear of 4.0 to 5.0 might be something to try.
And always check temps after a few mins when trying new setups.

TP1: Spec Stock "blink mode" 0*timing boost

TP2: 15* Timing Boost / RPM Range 5443-20,016

TP3: 25* Timing Boost / RPM Range 5443-20,016

TP4: 35* Timing Boost / RPM Range 5443-20,016

TP5: 45* Timing Boost / RPM Range 5443-20,016
Tekin provides a great help guide on the functionality of the RS/RSPRO

Default setup help

Hi guys i am now a tekin rs pro owner and i am looking for some setup advice
my current settings are as follows
2s Tc
motor novak 13.5 ballistic no can advance
gear ratio 6.650
boost 52
start 5443 end 20016
turbo 13
turbo delay 0.16
turbo ramp 2
The car feels as though it needs more mid power and i can see the turbo coming in to late down the straight
thanks

with the ballistic 13.5 i would recommend you run around a 7.4 gear ratio with max endbell timing with 45 timing and 15 turbo, 20000 end rpm and select the lowest start rpm on the list, do a 0.05 turbo delay with a 3.0 ramp

Anybody got 10.5 set-up for medium sized track? Roughly 100 foot straight.
