I only want to ask.... hara is a legend right?? so only guys like that will ever be able to get away with stuff like that with us normal ppl only dreaming of. Unless we have a money pit and just spend money like there is no tomorrow. There is a reason why guys like that are sponsored cause they are the best.
Running settings like that take alot of things into consideration which haras team would have done.

everything has to be perfect and even if we ran exactly what he was running or even if hara gave his car to someone to drive it wouldnt be the same at any other point in time.
thats why records are set and hard to beat.
Just my two cents!

Thanks.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Hara or any other sponsored driver that can wheel their ass off... but you know he puts his pants on the same way you do right?

All i am saying is dont sell yourself short by getting yourself into a mindset like that. Who knows, you could be in HIS shoes one day... if you want it bad enough.

Very interesting! So to be sure you motor run like that:

0 - 9200RPM : -10°
9200RPM - 24000RPM : going from -10 to 40 (or 30?)
@ full throttle : 55° (or 45°?)

Is the negative value on the motor substracted to the ESC value?

Thanks anyway!

Nope -10 deg is referring to the lRP timing insert which reduces the factory mid point setting. I suspect it reduces the actual motor timing to around +20 degrees but I am not sure. I run a very similar setup on a similar track to you so I think it will be a good starting point for you.

My start rpm is around 13K; Fdr about a tooth less; boost 50

Ok thank you very much!

I'm now very impatient to try that on my track...
