Congratulations to all the winners, I wish I had the time and extra funds to make it to the nats or even an out of state race for that matter but that's not the case. I'm just glad that a lot of locals got a chance to participate in a national event since realistically most people can only join these big events when it is hosted at their home track.......

To help the positive posts outnumber the pissing and moaning posts, I have a question out of curiosity. Does anyone know how many guys in the stock TC A main were running brushed motors and how many were running brushless? How about lessard (spelling?), what was he running? On the subject of him, man what a great performance by that young man. Not to mention, one of the cleanest drivers at the event, no doubt about it. I saw him accidently bump someone in his last main and he pulled over and waited for them to go ahead in front of him. Everyone should take a page from that book. All in all, a great event. No "major" problems, unless of course, you count some technical difficulties with liverc a "major problem" Some very impressive battles (and crashes) today. In the first mod TC A main, I think only 4 cars ended up finishing. It was a blood bath!! That kind of thing happens though. Most everyone raced each other clean all weekend. I was dissapointed with my performance, but I am a whole second faster than I was going into the weekend, unfortunately, that was still .5 sec too slow! Man, why is it that I want to go out in the shop and wrench on my cars when that is all I've done for the last five days??

I have tons of pictures of the weekends events including the drivers social on Friday night which included the introduction of the trophy girls. I also have lot's of video! After reading all the BS on this forum I am reluctant to post any of it. Would probably just give alot of people more to bitch about. Being new to RC Racing this is my first National to attend. I as well as many other locals have worked numerous hours helping Q make this a great race as well as alot of fun for all involved. The only two problems I am aware of is low attendance and a few bugs with the coverage on LiveRC. Low attendance can be blamed on alot of things but I would bet that the economy is the largest driving factor. As for the coverage problems on Live RC "Stuff Happens". Get over it. The ROAR guys did a great job and worked non-stop to make this event run as smooth as possible for those who ATTENDED. If those who chose to stay home or couldn't make it for other reasons want to see the great time we all had call Q at the store this week and order a dvd of the action including trophy girls as well as great racing. Regardless, why doesn't everyone just stop bitching. RC Racing is just like everything else in life. There is absolutely no way to please everyone. I am betting right now somewhere there is someone griping because the TG's were Brunette and not Blonde.
Thanks ROAR for your hard work. Thanks Q for putting on a great race. Thanks to those racers and team members who decided to attend and enjoy our local track and city as much as we do. Thanks to all the event sponsors both in the industry and local. And another thanks to Q for all he has done to promote this great HOBBY locally and providing us with a great place to hang out and HAVE FUN!

Congrats to all the winners and racers at this years Roar Paved Nats. Thanks to Q on an awesome job with the track and facilities. Thanks to most of the RMT for an awesome job as well and for working with all the racers to make it a great event.
There were 4 BL motors in the A main of TC stock. Mark Burt, Rob Love, Jason Ertracher and Bob Stellflu. All others ran C027's I believe.
Now back to the real world (Work!)
