what type of suspension arms are you running with on your hpi pro3? is it delrin plastic or composite graphite? looks really cool & durable i want one too!!!

The A-arms are made by Square and the they are really durable and arm made of durable Nylon I have had the HPI composite graphite one and I have kept breaking then right where the hinge pin goes throught the A-arm So I switched to the Square Arms and Have had no problems since

I Used a 2mm spacers in the rear and the the stock hollow tubing that came with the Hara kit.... but I didn't mount the torque rods to the steering posts..
It might look like that in the pic but it's not that way..
also you will need 2 10mm bolts and 2 20mm bolts for up front

Default Asphalt/Rubber set-up

Front;

Shocks #6847 Green springs, 45wt oil, mounting A-2. Take-off 27CS premounted tires/wheels, 6 deg caster, 0 deg kick-up, -1 deg camber in position B-3. Zero front toe, Front one-way Diff, Front (black) swaybar. Ride height 4.5mm.

Rear;

Shocks #6844 Red springs, 40wt oil, mounting A-2. Take-off 27CS tires/wheels, -1 deg camber in position B-3, 2 deg toe-in (2-2-9)
Ride height 5.0mm

Chassis;

Stock HPI USA plastic chassis, HPI Graphite upper deck, HPI Graphite shock towers F & R. Monster Stock motor geared 116/33

Side note:
I had to go 2 steps softer overall with the springs after installing the Upper Deck.
For NEXT weekends race I will be changing to 3 deg caster blocks with 2 deg of kick-up. Hopefully to gain a little more on power steering.

I haven't done that exact change, but whenever I raise the front roll centre (which is what that mod does) I find it reduces total steering, and seems to dull the steering response. It does "smooth" the front end out a bit though.
