spaz: that happened to me two weekends ago. i hit the barrier and my LRP phaser and Quantum Competition came off the mounting tape. i did not finish the 2nd qualifying heat and my transponder fell off during the first qualifying. i was relegated to c-main but managed to finish 1st from 2nd on the grid

Default transponder mounts

to all pro3 racers: can anyone please show pictures of your ALTERNATIVE transponder mounts. if there is one thing i do not like in my pro3, it is the transponder mount...very cheesy for me (like the ones for the TC3). i have a small servo (futaba 9550 digital) hence the contact area for the servo mount is also smaller.

You can use the hole in the front bumper.

I've seen some pictures of custom-made mounts, from a small plate of carbon fibre.

Speaking of "low frction belt",... you wouldn't happen to know the difference between it and the norm, would ya?...

Default transponder mounts

pro3racing: hey!!! thanks for the offer. but i live in the philippines, is that still ok with you???? i was thinking of making it angled away from the spur. sort of like the design of the hardcore racing servo & transponder mount. anyways, thanks again.

a matter of fact i do the low friction is not a wide as the normal belt and seems much stronger.
