One thing I think would be cool would be if this got going, maybe would try to paint up their GT bodies like some of the real life race cars in the series I posted links for (and things like ALMS and SPEED GT which I did not post links for)

You have to look hard for the body. I'm not sure if it's made anymore. I got the last one from Stormer. Browse around hobby shops. You might get lucky. Or just wait for Dale's new Vette body to come out.

I have links to both Stormer and Tower Hobbies. JimmyMac got the last C6 from Stormer but I would think Tower might still have a few of the Protoform C6. If that doesnt work you could get the HPI C6-R

As for the Z4, is that a 190mm or 200mm body?

Hey if any of you other guys know of bodies that are based on real race cars that I do not have on this list, feel free to post them up here and if you have a link that would be an additional bonus

These cars are 200mm. So obviously if it's 190mm, it will not work since the wheels will stick outside of the body.

Okay, back from a weekend of racing.

Tonight I will start work on the rules/specs. Like I said before, there will be a lot of holes in them because I am not sure what the manufactures have in mind as far as design, etc. But it'll give us somewhere to start.

Good stuff Jimmy. Hopefully this will open up the possibility of body manufacturers efforting to either remake some of their GT bodies or maybe step out and make some new ones

Thats cool. I understand the feeling. I've been on the road all weekend long. Last night when I got home from Virginia, I had to take out the brushed motor in my tc. Then pop in the brushless for todays race. Well, I woke up an hour later with the car in my lap and the soldering iron still on. I didn't wanna get up. But it was either get'r done now. Or wake up earlier and do it then. I hate waking up early..... hehe

Heck I will pay good money for someone to come up with a Aston Martin DBR9 Mold or any GT Body in 200mm for a Thermal Vacuum molding machine, let me know here in PM if someone can do this! Top Dollar paid and free DBR9 bodies for life! for the person that can make this happen.

I think that one could be allowed. I looked it up on Racing Sports Cars. It ran back in the late 90s in GT racing. Jimmy any problems here?
