The manual specifically says not to use a non-digital servo with the HRS RX.....you can take the risk of frying both your reciever and servo.....

Never use standard servo with HRS. You can tried it. Let us know how things happen.

I tried it with a crappy old 3003 servo a few weeks ago just to see what would happen. The servo wasn't responsive at all and it's movements were very erratic, you could also hear it making a ton of noise like the internals were all going in different directions. It also glitched like all hell broke loose, when I shut it off and turned it on again, the servo didn't work anymore. By Futaba saying not to use analog servos in HRS mode, they're not joking around, IF YOU USE AN ANALOG SERVO IN HRS MODE YOU WILL FRY IT, plain and simple, there is no way around it.

Would other rx (ppm/fm123 for eg.) work fine with 3PK besides the HRS and the PCM?

im using the hrs receiver that came with the 3PK as well as the ff. receivers with no problems (40mhz):
1024PCM, R123F (FM), R114F (FM) Note: the R114F is a 4-channel microservo (about 1/2 the size of the R123F) that was intended for airplane use, i think, bec. of the very long antenna wire

Thanks for the reps.
One more question: Would Tx have a same power over any freq on its band? Say I got it of factory at Ch63 (40MHz) would it have certain loss/damaging effect if I operate it at Ch80 (abt 500kHz difference)? TIA.

No loss what so ever. The KO RX do not come with any crystals when new. I think Futaba simply stick a crystal in their RX to fill in the hole .....I've never managed to find a band that I am using.....
