Does anyone know which is positive and negon a li-ion when theres three copper plates

the middle one is for balancing. the outside 2 will be labelled either inside the camera or on the battery itself. i hope you're using a li-ion/li-po charger!

yes on the chager will check the camera for the pos and neg battery has none thanks

use a dvm to check for a voltage, hopefully you'll see +3V if it's a 1 cell, +6V for 2 cell and +9v if it's a 3 cell lithium ion.

Depending on the capacity of the battery you'll want to keep the charge rate on the low side. This is a rechargeable type of cell right?

the charger dock is working, my wife must of drain the old battery too far and killed it.
