Brushless Motors
Anyone have any basic skimmed down tutorials on these motors? Do you have to maintain them as much as the brush motors? Do they have motors equivalent to 6, 8, 10, 12 turn brush motors? Do they require special speed controllers to operate? Do these motors affect the run time of the car, possibly longer run periods than the brush motors?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

if u go to novak's site they have some info on what turn brushless = brushed turns. For instance 13.5bl = 27 br. the novak 4300 kv motor = 19 turn brushed.

3. need a special esc that is rated down to the turn of the motor.
4. runtime will increase due to the increased eff of a brushless motor.

Also, due to the lack of touching parts, greater efficiency translates to more torque and rpms...slight gearing changes can make a torque'ey motor into a high revving beast. Subtle gear changes like that gives you a much broader rsetting ange depending on track type and conditions.
