TRF Chassis on TA04

Does a TRF Carbon Lower chassis fit a TA04??? because the standard TA04 Lower Chassis doesn't have holes for the saddle battery pack.

TA04 Light. Carbon Lower Deck

side by side chassis 53494

Works for me.

Actuall I think with the side by side packs you might get slightly better weight distribution because there is a tiny bit more weight in the center of the chassis, and you still have 3 cells each side of the center.

Front to back on the other hand is different as you have more weight towards the front with sadle packs.

But that Tamiya chassis will do it, failing that Integy also used to sell one. Check out the Integy website in the Tamiya parts section.

Only Tamiya parts allowed in TCS! I wouldn't worry too much about the forward weight distribution the carbon tub is cheap and does a great job. My TA04 is a very easy car to drive....."almost" as good as my Xray! Concentrate on the setting more.

For TCS you have to get Tamiya parts.

My 04 runs very nicely with the carbon tub chassis and a 9double in it.
