We had 3 guys at the race and they were all on pace. The car did very well and as the guys get more in tune with the car, wins and top tens will be more common. For a new platform with minimal number of drivers, the car did excellent. 14th overall out of 80 something cars is very impressive for its 1st outing. It will only get better

that is great, considering the field of 1/12th scale cars at that event. Have any of you guys tried the old style front end on the car.

The prototype front end on the 12L5 looks very interesting.

It does look interesting. I am looking for something a little different from what they are doing. I dont really want to adjust track width with the lower arm. Cool idea though.

I hadn't thought of that but that is a good idea too. Adjusting it at the arm keeps the steering pivot point in the same place inside the wheel. What I was thinking though is it looked to be a stronger way to have a universal arm left to right and now I don't have to worry about stripping the lower arm again like I allready did once to the new IRS arms. Guess I had too much Wheeties that day

I havent had any problems with the IRS arms so far. I did bend a screw once though. I will post some pics when i get everything squared away with my upgrade front end stuff. I like that AE is coming up with new ideas. I would like to see it when it gets to the production stages.
