Here is a new take on balancing a 5 cell car.
In this configuration the car is within 15 grams Left to Right balance.
What sort of rollout do people run for a 4.5 or 3.5 on a mid sized outdoor track? Or ratio for the mathematically impaired
My only concern now is the car is still around 1460g, the local weight limit is 1375 with timing.
I could trim off a bit with a LW body, and thin paint. But how does anyone approach the weight limit? maybe the cyclone is not the best car for weight.

Beser, nice! Have you switched to aluminum screws? I'm really pleased with the aluminum screws I bought at Fastener Express. They are surprisingly hard, and there is no signs of stripping. These are not the same aluminum screws AE used in the FTTC4. They dropped 25-28 grams from my 007s, for a lot less money than titaniums.

Has anyone tried the 13.5 on a carpet track with 5 cell? If so, what was the result?

IMO 5 cells is the best change made in many years.
We still drive same laptimes, on many tracks even faster actually, the tyres lasts longer, and all drivetrain parts in the car is also lasting a lot longer now. The blades dont have to be changed after every second run now. - And the cars are still very fast.
1350g is difficult to reach, the weight limit rule was made during an indoor season, where most people use very light foam inserts - and outdoor we use rubber inserts that are 40-50g heavier.
The BL equipment is also heavier than standard brushed equipment.
Try 5 cells, and You will be surprised!

If your downgrading from 6 cell to 5 cell, how much do you gear up? 4-5 teeth?

I've now had quite a few opportunities to run my 5cell system:
T2'007US
Foam tires
carpet
LRP TC Spec
LRP 4.5t
I've come to the conclusion that 5-cell is slower than 6-cell on foam-carpet. I'm loosing too much acceleration out of slow corners. I have all the top end speed of a 6cell setup, but there's a lack of torque at slow speeds. It's kind of the opposite of my old setup, 6-cell w/ Mamba Max 5700 motor. That setup had tons of low-speed torque, but would max out at a slow speed.
I'm going back to 6cell brushless for my mod races.
