I ran mine yesterday with a 10x2 with a 4cell 3800 pack in a parking lot. Its now dustier than it has probably ever been. I was so impressed with the dust that i took pictures, ill post them when i get off work today.

As dirty as the pavement was, I still had fairly good traction, unless i hit the brakes. Purple front tires, god only knows what rear tires, and one of them has about 1/4 inch cut off(this was an oval car i got used). I was running a Monte Carlo oval body as well.

I blew out one of the side shocks and need to get a rebuild kit so I can replace the little star piece. And I was wayyy over geared.

But it was the most fun ive had running a car in parking lot in a long time.

Well one of the Bolinks I got off EBay arrived today. Now just need the other to arrive. This one is not as good of condition as the first and is quite dirty but seems to be in over all good condition. Should have it up and running by the weekend.

I ran my Bolink(Scorpion) Sunday. After sitting for several years it needed some work.It fell apart on me in the second qualifier. It will be repaired and ready to go for the next time we hit the track. I ran it with a 13.5 and 6 cell (3800's) with an HPI Mercedes body (TC).I did not rebuild the rear shock or have any idea of what springs I had up front. Now that I know what it did it's time to rebuild the shocks and fix the frontend.
As fro wide body's you might contact windturnnel as they seem to have all the old bolink Body molds. They also have the Toj body.

i tried to challenge the wall/pipes. Amazingly enough the wall was undefeated, nor did I lose. I think we called it a draw. I need to put some oil in the shock and fix some caster issues. other than that i ran the same 2-3year oold 3300 6c w/ stock for all 3 races vs some 4c 19t (fixed). I pushed like a dump truck but pulled out a 2nd to Mike Bean. I gotta tune a little, but we had a great time.

Sounds like Strickland RC park at Daytona. They run the last Sunday of the month and they usually have class for the 1/10 pan on road cars. There's no race scheduled for the month of August but September can be a different story. Check out stricklandrcpark.com

I know this is an old thread but after reading this I just wanted to say how much I agree with the sentiments of the writter of the above quote
