Default Body height on my RS4 Pro 3

I have an RS4 Pro 3 and the body is set ridiculously high on the car, on the rear of it there is a huge gap between the wheel wells on the body and the actual tire. I have the body set in the lowest possible position and I have cut it down to the lowest possible position and I still have no luck at all!

Is this an HPI design flaw?

What can I do?

John,

You should be able to get the body low enough with most bodies. I can look at it next time I see ya.

I'm running an HPI Stratus body, I have the body mount in the lowest possible position, yet it is all out of whack. I own other HPI cars and have never had this problem.

When will you be at the MDI shop next? I definetly want to bring my FG Evo for you guys to check out and hopefully I can spark some interest and people will buy some 1/5 scale cars and we can start a class for Saturdays .

Are you using the telescoping body post things? I took mine off, but you can cut them too. Maybe your ride height is just way too high. I had no probloms with putting an hpi stratus on my pro 3.

One thing you can do is use the other body posts that came on the parts tree (they are straight, and have a hole and a little pin type thing) and mount the posts at the edges of the shock tower.
dont use the telescopic ones.....they are good on the front but on the back.....nah....
i know i didnt xplain it well, hope you understood....lol.....
im sure the rest of you's know what im talking about!

If you want to keep using the telescoping posts, you'll need to trim about a 1/3 (or maybe more) off the length of the "sleeve" part to get them down low.

Don't use them myself.

Toss the Telescoping Body posts. Just added weight, with no benefit.
