The shock is available as a complete kit. It should be in stock or available to order from anywhere that stocks Hot Bodies parts. It is part number 61695.

I just finished building My Cyclone 12, I replaced the front end with a AE front end, and used a CRC axle, in the rear. By looking at it I think I need some spacer on the right, any thoughts on how people set up a non-Hot Bodies Axle on the rear of the car?

By using rear axle shims in exactly the same way as you would on an L4 etc.

See the wheel mounting section in the article at http://www.carsrcracing.co.uk/?page_id=65 for more info.

Does anyone have the part number of the CRC front crossbrace? I too tried the kit version and my old CEFX brace and neither fit with the AE Front on the HB car.

Does anyone have any pictures of a cyclone wired for brushless. I'm curious to know which way they have them set, through the back or over the top of the rear pod?

Others have done it differently but this is mine.

thanks for the idea. I've looked at it a couple of ways. My biggest concern obviously is I don't want any binding. The other is how much room do I have over the top pod plate. I'm running a Novak 13.5, and the tabs stand off high from the motor, looks like i'm going to have to bend them. Thanks again bud, for you help.

Default Brushless Gearing

I'm just switching over to brushless in my C12 and was wondering what kinda size spur/pinion i should be aiming at? the track is a medium sized carpet track. Before i was running a 95t spur and a 31t pinion (64dp) with a Orion Element 19t. I will now be running a Orion Vortex 10.5 if thats any help. I'm still quite new to the 12th scene. I'm also running the Jaco tires which are already trued down to a smaller size, but i dont know what size that is lol
