Default Diffs Slip

The diffs on my TA-05 slip under brakes with a clicking sound. I'm not sure if they slip under acceleration, but as far as I can tell they dont. It doesnt matter how tight I do up the diffs they still slip.

Ive checked out all the parts- diff balls, rings etc and they seem to be ok.

If I hold the car in my hand, hold the diff pulley, one wheel and turn the other wheel with moderate force, the diff will slip with a cliicking sound. Is this normal?

How can I fix this?

sounds to me like belts slipping on the gears not the diff slipping. Give your front belt more tension and it should disappear.

Well check again. Diffs slipping don't make clicking noise, but belts do. Especially the front belt would slip under braking as braking torque is higher than accelerating torque.

Best solution: Sell the Tamiya and but a real car No just kidding.. I think TRF415Boy is right about the belts.. I don't know what type of motor you use, but if it is your belt slipping during braking, you probably have got your brake to high. I use only around 40% of full brake power, but this depends on the type and speed of the motor. Because with 3,5T BL it's a lot more important than with a 27T brushed motor
