only thing that sucks worse than 20 bucks a pair is when you chunk them on your first run That's one of the reasons I went back to 19T rubber

It's not only that, the guys in foam mod are turning every race into a hackfest now. Too many ego's in there for me

Your right about that. Just watching 19t, every one seems to be having a good time. Very little hacking going on, no pressure and a lot more fun.

Just look for the tallest guy at the track. I will also be calling a few rounds on both days. Are you racing both days or are you just coming up for one day?

That's what happens when sponsorship goes to people's head. There hasn't been a 19 turn class since all of us went to mod. I'm still undecided on what class I want to run once I get the new car. The way it's looking I might run mod on Saturday and 19 turn on Sunday.

I hear ya. I'll put some CA around the practice set, and propably true down the race set to where I hopefully wont have to worry about chunking them.

Do you know what springs/shock oil work well with modified/foam?

Yes Roar membership is required and I believe it is heads up with two qualifiers and one main on each day. Its basically two races and a combined total of points to determine the winners of the entire race weekend/event.

Default Pictures Finally for WYD

I'm about to walk out the door to the DC Auto show but some quick things. It's heavier than a stock Yokomo (I think) but it's lighter than a Losi XXX-S. It's about 48.5oz. Plan on running that stock motor at The Track just to get a feel before a 19T gets put in.

Did you have a chance to run it yet and if you did how do you feel the car has changed?

You are the Yoke Man now!!!!!

I haven't run it in it's present form as I changed the front suspension block to F0. The rear block is R0+2 with the .5 rear hub carriers reversed. Both are aluminum blocks. Other than that it's Tosolini's set up for carpet.

Oh except for the Associated springs. Got as close as I could with the Yokomo Grey and Brown spring rates.

Cool, do you know if they sell the ROAR membership right there at the track, and if so what the cost is? Also, any idea what the entry fee for the race is going to be?
