Default controller crystal problem

hey guys,

i have a futaba 2PHK controller and at the moment im running a 75.630 crystal. Although in Australia u cant race with this because its the emergency radio frequency. So i bought some new crystals (29.865) and they dont work...(and yes they are the same) My reciever is a Futaba FP-R122JE. Anyone know why they arent working and how i can fix it....

thanks

your receiver is a 75mhz receiver you will have to buy a 29mhz receiver for the crystals to work

yeah because his receiver will be a 29mhz version of it if you try your 75mhz crystals in his they won't work. do you follow

yeah i do,
a 75mhz transmitter only works with 75.xyz crystals and a 75mhz receiver with a 75.xyz crystal.... if youre having a 75 transmitter you have to use a 75mhz receiver and a 75mhz crystal. just pick another number

if you want to run on 29mhz receiver , you'll have to make sure you also have youre transmitter sending 29mhz signals witch i guess it wont do because its 75mzh?
