just look at all the major races for the past 2 years in stock class. RDX is a great car that you can count on. You'll be happy with the performance and happier with all the team support... at the track or on RC tech, great group of guys!

CORALLY RDX, XRAY T2, TAMIYA 415, YOKOMO BD, HOT BODIES CYCLONE..... All this car is capable of winning any races on both stock and modified. it's just a matter of preference and parts availability on you LHS..

All this cars is pretty much have the same platform so it doesn't really matter which car you choose. Get one of this car stick with it and learn how to drive it

I too am looking for another TC. But I don't have 400 bucks to spend. So I ask the same question but I want one under 200 bucks? I know the new T2R is coming. I want to get something sooner. I have been looking at a hopped up TA-05, Cyclone S or a XXX-S. I am looking for a belt drive this time around. I don't have a LHS so that does really play a part. Thanks in advance.

You may want to look into a TA05. I can take on any rdx,xray or whatever...and mine is 95% box stock. Only added roll bars and a front oneway ($36 shipped from Hong Kong). So..$160 for the kit,$15 for the roll bars and $36 for the one-way=$211. Just something to think about--Al

The X-Ray is really easy to work on and it's fast. It placed in the Worlds and is a great asphalt car. It did well at the 06' Asphalt Nats and the Reedy race.

It's funny to watch everybody recommend the car they drive as the best one

In truth, Tamiya, X-Ray, Corally, HB, etc. are all so alike these days that it just comes down to availability and parts support in most situations.

I drive an RDX and would recommend it to anybody willing to spend the money.

In this case, a TA05 is a nice place to start, and can be decently hopped up as needed. The XRay FK05 (used) can also be had for cheap, and it's a very capable car as well.

T2 with the BMI 3mm Chassis conversion, doesnt get any better! Intergrated adjustable shock pistons is a plus! Spring steel drive shafts and tie rods are dope!

I still race a tc3team,with composite driveshafts and im in the A most of the time at my local club.

Get the Xray T2R! I have the T2 and I love it, my main class is stock. I am going to buy the T2R as well for some spare parts and the LW diffs. The LW diffs are going to be great for stock! The price on the T2R is great and it will spank the other cars!

No car is dailed on every surface with every type of motor. What makes a car good for stock foam probably isnt ideal for mod rubber.

My $.02 for stock foam is the RDX, its quite good in stock rubber as well, mod and 19t i dont think its as good as some of the other cars out there, namely the T2. I personally did not like the T2 in stock i felt it was twichy, and didnt carry corner speed and was hard to drive fast and consistant. Now had i been running mod I think i would have prefered the T2 since it did turn in hard and with more motor i think the corner speed would have been fine and it would have also settled the car down, but in stock I dont think its currently the easiest car to drive. Parts quality, hands down the best, the T2 is lightyears ahead of the RDX, easier to work on, no slop, but its just not as easy to drive and fast in stock foam.

We race on Ozite (sp?) with foam tires. Two fast guys put away the RDX one in favor of the T2. Yes the T2 is better in MOD but you can dial it in just perfect for stock.
