Thanks for the tip on the PRS spur gear adaptor for use with the Kimbrough spur gears. Great tip because parts will be difficult to find where I live.
Will the parts for the car be available straight from the start of the delivery of the complete kits ?
I know what I want to order as spare parts but it will be difficult to do if the manual or the parts list isn't published at least one or two weeks before the car is available. Because I am ordering overseas it would be most usefull if I could order the car and the spare parts all at once.

As far as spare parts I would order the normal stuff you would get for any car. Extra arms, f/r hub carriers, castor blocks, diff rebuild stuff, shock springs, ect. Hope that helps.

Todd: is it possible to gear the car low enough out of the box for a 3.5 velocity on carpet? can larger spurs be fitted if needed? and will a large servo such as the jr 9000s fit without mods?? just curious....
thanks again.

Yes you should be able to gear the car as low as possible. I believe a 130 spur will fit with no modifications to the car. The 9000S should fit however it will be tight.

The car will come with 30lb front springs and 20lb rear springs. There are no plans for a conversion kit since we have made so many changes to this platform. The new diffs will fit on the front engine car which will help a lot. Xavier ran the narrow diffs last week at the IIC and finished 3rd in stock foam.

even with a new wrench I always seem to round out the holes on those tiny ones.

We are planning on sticking with the same size screw. Try taping out the screw hole before using. The best way is to tap the hole with a 4-40 caphead screw then install the .050 screw 4-40 screw.

or you could ofcourse just leave the 4-40 caphead in . It looks stupid, but it will solve the problem.

Todd,
Are the arms interchangable side to side and/or front to rear.
