The Avionics SBS is designed to be used both inline with a charger during charging and also as a stand alone balancer. So yes you can use while charging.

As you slide the battery in you have to tilt so it clears the bump in the bulk head.

We actually used this chassis for most of the testing for the 3200 so we know it works.

I know alot of you guys have been using the Avionics Adavanced Flight charger for these batteries. I am looking to getting some of these batteries soon. Are you guys still liking this charger? It seems to be a nice little package and I'm really considering this charger to go along with my ICE. What are your thoughts?

Love it! It pairs nicely with the MuchMore PowerMaster Mini for a tiny combo at the track. All I bring is two 3200's, the small PS and charger, and that's the summation of my battery/charging equipment.

That's where I'm headed. No BS, just a couple batteries and a charger. I want everything to fit into a lunch box.

I have a little plastic case the size of a lunch box that I use and in it I carry:

2 - 4800's
4 - 3200's
1 - 10A power supply
2 - Flight chargers
1- Avionics Li-Po Charger
1 - SBS balancer
1 - Volt meter
1 - 1250mAh Lipo for my Trabnsmitter.

It's basically my Li-Po test lab and it fits in the same case I used to use just to hold my 12 Ni-MH batteries.

Once you get to that point, you may actually laugh out loud at the hassle you used to go through to use and maintain NiMH. These packs are so powerful, so light and so easy to use an maintain, you can't help but shake your head at the trouble others go through to hang on to NiMH. I don't mean that as a flame against people that still love those batteries, because there are many, but this is so clearly a better way of doing things, it's hard not to be a little giddy about it once you make the switch.
