Marty,
As someone who put their money where their keyboard is I want to say the diff access is great! Heck last winter I and just about everyone else was runnig a car that you had to completely remove at least one bulkhead to remove a diff, cars with the easier maintenance and top loading diffs are really only about a year - year and a half old. For people to complain about the fact that you do have this great feature blows my mind. As far as listening to peoples ideas, you did! When I first came across this thread you listened and responded to everyone and made who knows how many chassis revisions to get it just right, but as you implied eventually you just have to put the final product out there and see how it does. And as tight as my budget is if I didn't think you had an excellent car I would have gone with something else but I didn't. So keep up the good work , and get things set back up real quick when you get to Vegas Gotta keep those cars coming.

Tom Thanks
parts should be here any day now ok. just them dang 950 bearings I have also ordered some local just in case ok.
And as for the car Thanks I feel you will be happy with it.
As you know we will not just let it be I will make parts to make it even better and at a low cost to our customers. I had thought of the Aluninum cap/tower mount but after we get this car going out of here with out a hitch them we can take the time to make stuff to make it better!

It's all Good DA_cookie_monst!
I think the first Tamiya I ran was a Ta01 till the RS4 came out I got mine almost a full season before anyone else and kicked the crap out of the leading Tamiya Group and Yokomo cars that year!
Now that was fun!

I just sent my car back to Marty for some changes.
I finished rubber season so it's on to carpet.
Beautiful work marty! I hope the new motor mount is for me!

Tom here is your car
Cutting the one piece upper Chassis plate right now.
and then we will do the holes in the diff mounts and then the holes in the Chassis Tonight and put it all together in the morning and I hope the bearings will be here by noon.
it is only about a day or two worth of work.

It's all good!!! I am working on a hybrid Yokomo/Hpi suspention for carpet.
Possibly the 415 suspention for rubber in the spring.

And this car with the DJ rear suspension is Great for asphalt racing. I have not had a problem with it but I may brush a wall or board and I have never tweeked them but do not crash hard with the rear! the Aluminum is to thin and will tweek real easy that is why I do not crash or hit stuff!
I have not run it on carpet that much to see if it was good or bad and the track is gone now!
