It's probably just lack of attention.

Just kidding man. Try the ck25ar thread: CK25AR 1/12th car kit from Team CRC

I wished I could change the name of the thread to RWD M-Chassis, 1/12th inspired.

Did you race the car? Looks nice and reduced. I am not a fan of foams unfortunately.
The design of the rear pod is an open question to me: How much will a different setup improve rear grip?
- T bar
- single pivot
- v-link
- panhard setup
- roller bearing guidance

Any input on this?

The video shows it running on normal mini rubber tyres.
It couldn't be raced, it was WAY faster than an M03.

So I've run the car on outdoor asphalt - and I must say I am pretty pleased with the driving now. Curious to see where I will be once I meet other M-Chassis people...

The Xpress plastics are fairly durable. I've hit a wall at around 100km/h with the FM1S at a Velodrome speed run and only popped off a turnbuckle, the C hubs survived. If those are breaking regularly at your track, I don't think a pan car will be any stronger.

Sounds like a direct copy of an earlier comment of mine, and this is the only post from that user...

Default Dintikon track test in the heat

At 35°C air temperature the conditions in Dintikon today were on the low grip / tyre and electrics overheat range.
I had the carbon bits on the car tested for the first time, and I must say I start to enjoy driving this car. It''s still tail happy, but I can nicely control the turn-in and as the motor is a super worn out 13.5T on-throttle behaviour has been very nice, too. I can go on the throttle before putting the wheels straight without the car spinning.
Robustness has been great today and no rollover or track limit meetup has resulted in any breakage.

For the next trip I might try to get even softer on the rear pod vertical stiffness (by elongating the adjustment slot)

I softened the rear end of the car, only to realize that the oversteer issue in a loaded corner got worse again. As the MX-5 body is only suspended on the front chassis, and there's no anti rollbar, this might be the issue.
So contemplating whether I should add
a) an ARB to the front
b) an ARB between rear pivot and front chassis?
what do you think?
