1/10 chassis that takes Lola Body (mini 1/8)
#16
Ain't no stupid here. Just good questions.
By the way 235mm cars are pretty hard to find. There will be more 200mm car.
I also forgot about the ARC R11W
Not the most recent chassis, but here you can see that quite nothing is over the wheels now.
The issue also is about tyres. The tyres which were used are not produced. You can find "touring" foams in 30mm or pan-car foams which are the most ressemblant to your picture but dedicated to 2WD.
Now back to your initial request. The category you are talking about has disappeared. Now it depends what you want:
- If you want something similar in term of driving, 200mm touring car with foams is the best approach
- If you really want to go for rubber tyres, it is a totally different driving style, and there are a lot of available chassis on the market.
- If you really want to stick to lola, 4wd and huge foam tyres, you have to pick a 1/8 car, classic or not
Hope it helps.

Ok, P-10. Did not know that existed. 325 electric pan car. Are these run outdoors? Looks too low for a North-American parking lot race (potholes and cracks).

The only issue with P10 is that it lacks traction and chassis clearance compared to the old nitro 235mm category. So it means that you need a good flat prepared surface to race it.
There is a huge topic about Pro10 here :Pro 10: 235mm Le Mans Prototype Pan Car Discussion

And usually 235mm are run on asphalt outdoors primarily, while 1/12th scale is primarily indoor carpet. Exceptions of course exist for both.
