Springs are the same What do you mean by "useful" tuning?

The car comes ready for carpet. Check out some of the set up sheets on the Associated website.

The springs are interchangeable. And as far as I know, there are no new rates specifically for the TC5.

You will need both 4 and 6 degree caster blocks for tuning and shock oil up to 60 wt. Other than that, the car comes with everything else you will need to tune it.

Anytime you see a drop number that high it means with a droop gauge. If you see something like 1-2mm then its above ride height.

I forgot to say that I use rubber tires... Does anyone test the car with it. I looked at Juho Levannens car at the LRP TCM. There were a lot of diffent parts in it, which are not in the kit...

How is everyones lap times with the new TC5 sedan? Is there an improvement?

My son wants one, so I am looking into a few different cars.

Thanks,
...Jim

I would recommend the TC5 highly. People are saying that you need the ITF chassis to be competitive, but I found that the box stock setup with only a few minor changes had the car glued to the track. If you get your son a TC5, you will not be disappointed.

i would start by cutting out this part of the top deck and take out the battery strap if you are running one

What is the difference between these two items?

31175 - Spool Pulley

31179 - Spool kit

Also does anyone know where I can find the instruction manual online for the TC5? I can not find it on the AE site.... I was there about few weeks back but it is not there today...
