I'm looking for a good bearing set for my TC5, preferably ceramic. Does anyone know of a good set or could point me in the right direction?

Just replace the bearings in the center line with ceramics and use metal shields in the blocks and carriers. The outside bearings take too much abuse to replace with ceramics. I buy all my bearings from avid, you could replace all the center with ceramics for $30 ($5ea.) and the rest are a buck a piece.

+1 on not using ceramics all around. Save yourself some money and use the standard metal shielded bearing inthe hubs and you will be fine!!! I use Avid bearing in all my cars and trucks. The price for a ceramic set at Boca is like $95.00 I think for the TC5, it is not wrth that kind of money, one good hit and the bearing is toast anyway!
I usually buy like two dozen bearings for 24 boucka nd that will last two seasons, unless you replace them all the time.

I just got back into racing and i have always been a AE guy, but what is the difference In FT TC5 and the FT TC5R ?

I need help because i can buy a tc5 cheap but want to race rubber

Tekin RS and a Futaba 9551. I wouldn't buy cheap electronics because you usually end up buying better stuff later and spending more in the long run.

Also so whats are good spec for Tc servo rates for speed and torque?

Unless you are running motors lower than 5.5 you won't need an RS Pro. For a servo... I'd go around .10 for speed and over 100oz of torque.(Make sure you check the 6v specs.) The Futaba is also nice because it's low profile so it doesn't push the weight out to the left more.

I just picked up a second hand TC5R and so far Ive torn it completely down back to kit form so I could inspect all the parts and clean them while I was at it. Im going to be running in a 13.5 class at the LHS in the parking lot. I figured I would start out with the stock rubber config from the manual and go from there. Anyone have any big changes to that to start out with? Also I want to go with the Mamba Max pro since I mostly own all CC stuff but since there smallest KV motor is 4600 Im kinda at a loss with that portion.
