Looking at this car everything looks great but has any of the team drivers raced this anywhere? I've seen and purchased several cars that all looked great....but ended up being not so great on the track. Hope this is not the case but would be nice to see results to back up the hot design.

I raced a MTC1 for 2 years and could never get it dialed in racing on black carpet. I still think the car is high end quality and a great car. Parts are expensive but the car is very durable. I'm sure the new car is just as good as it looks.

What type of parts support can I expect from mugen. Will they pull a horizon hobbies and dump the product after 1 year.

Mugen has been around since the old nitro days just not a big player in 1/10 TC yet. I have always had good parts availability, A-Main/Direct from Mugen and EBay. The only thing I have ever broken is a couple steering knuckles and I have had some epic off’s. I do not consider Gizmo to be a conventional car and the quality is fantastic. Of the “conventional” (hinge pin cars) I have built in the last 25yrs nothing has been better quality than the Mugen ....and their shocks are fantastic.

Given technically, Horizon is not a manufacturer... I would compare their Unscrupulous buisness practices with Mugen! I could find Parts for my MRX4-X years after it was discontinued, the quality of parts alone is above many others.

Have you looked up how long the MTC-1 has been out, and where all you can find parts???

Strange roll centers configuration suggests it has been developped on high-traction tracks...

One more question for Erik, this car will be setup to run shortly packs for modified? Like proper weights, battery holder options?
