the shock is shorter, diameter like the MTC1 shock, but the holes in the piston are larger.

DaLurch as the car is completeley new, there are only a few parts from MTC1 which will fit in MTC2. Things like ballcups, and diffgears, front outdrives, driveshafts, driveshaft replacements, bearings.

Regards Eric

Very Nice!
Lets see if this kit requires 300+ pages of forum to assemble and adjust it right, like some other cars....

...if some people can't work off the base kit settings, or the team drivers setting sheets, and read through 300+ pages on the Forum to get their car setup, I think its time for a new hobby!

Hi Eric,
Big fan of Mugen. I have 2 MCT1's which I enjoy racing. On the new design, it looks like the rear horizontal body mount are only tailored to TC bodies based on the published pictures. I like to run USGT. As an example, I placed a TC body next to a USGT (Protoform Corvette C7R) body and I don't see this fitting these bodies as they have different rear body contours than TC bodies. Will Mugen have a vertical rear body mount option, so we can choose what works best for any racing class??

simple it will be proper out of the box, no need to spend +300$ on option parts, or polish ball studs and put hours of additional work into the car to make it work. This is not the philosophy of Mugen!

JerseyRC i think there won‘t be a vertical body mount option, but you can mount the front MTC body Post in the rear too, i would say it is almost possible to run every vertical body post in the rear.

I'm pretty sure with the existing hole, you can use a standard front bumper body post and mount it vertically, like the older style Awesomatix cars.

Nice positive and inclusive response. An excellent contribution to this forum.
Well done!
FYI, in case you were wondering, I wasn't referring to the MTC-1......

My close friend purchased the MTC1 and we were both impressed with the quality and functionality. I have no doubt this version will exceed expectations again! Looking forward to its availability.

Yep, Mugen killed it. Easily the most advanced vertical damper TC now.
