Default CK25 12th question.

Is there a chassis plate available that makes the CK25 the same wheel base as the older X cars?

Try P/N 32580. It is the optional chassis for the original XTi that has transverse battery mounting provisions. It is definitely longer than the CK25 plate. It will require a different provision for mounting the front suspension and front body mount. Good luck.

different front suspension? My XTI is the same setup up front as my CK25. And it’s wheel base is the same as the CK, so I would want to be sure it stretched it out.

I race on low bite office carpet, and the older longer wheel base cars seem to handle better than the newer shorter stuff.

The XTi does not have a different front suspension. The difference is the way they are mounted to the main chassis. Regarding the chassis plate, I am very confident you will end up with a longer car. I think the rear lower pod plate for the XTi and the CK25 are virtually the same in length. Good luck. But I suggest you give Dumper a call at CRC and get the best answer regarding these parts.

the altered ego rear pod plate is going to give you about 4mm more length from center pivot to center of rear axle over the xti rear pod plate.
